Dhanpal Jhaveri is Vice Chairman at Everstone Group, a premier investment group focused on India and South East Asia with assets in excess of US$6 billion across private equity, real estate, green infrastructure and venture capital. He is also the CEO for Eversource Capital, which is a joint venture between Lightsource BP and Everstone Capital to make green and sustainable investments in India. Dhanpal’s previous experience includes Director (Corporate Strategy) with Vedanta Resources Plc, Head of Investment Banking at ICICI Securities and Partner for Corporate Finance at KPMG. Dhanpal has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Mumbai and a Master of Business Administration from Babson College.

Sameer Sain is the co-founder and CEO of Everstone. He is based in Singapore, he is actively involved in managing the firm and overseeing the business in each location, dividing his time between all the Everstone offices across multiple regions. Before Everstone, Sameer spent 11 years at Goldman Sachs, where he was a Managing Director in the Investment Management Division and held the position of Head of Institutional Wealth Management and the Special Investments Group (International). Prior to his appointment as Managing Director, he spent eight years managing public market portfolios for Goldman Sachs clients, investing globally across multiple asset classes. Sameer holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Mumbai, a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts and a Master of Business Administration from Cornell University.

Atul Kapur is co-founder and CIO of Everstone. Based in Singapore, he divides his time between all the Everstone offices to successfully oversee investments in each location. Before Everstone, Atul spent 12 years at Goldman Sachs where he was a Managing Director in the Principal Strategies Group, based out of London. Prior to this, Atul worked in the Principal Investment Area group of Goldman Sachs in both Asia and Europe, deploying the Goldman Sachs Capital Partners family of funds. Atul holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Delhi and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Nick founded Lightsource Renewable Energy in 2010. Since then, the company’s remarkable growth trajectory has seen it grow from a six-person start up to a global leader in the development and management of solar energy projects with more than 700 employees worldwide. In 2017, Nick spearheaded an innovative partnership with energy giant bp, resulting in a 50:50 joint venture between the companies and a new name: Lightsource bp. Nick’s dynamic leadership and vision continues to drive the company’s remarkable growth and international reach, including a recent $1.8bil investment from international lenders. To date, Lightsource bp has deployed several GW of utility-scale solar projects globally and is executing a significant international project development pipeline as part of its industry-leading ambition to develop 25GW of solar by 2025. With headquarters in London, the company is now active in countries across Europe, the Americas, Asia and Australia. Nick previously sat at Board and Senior Director level in several leading retail financial service companies. Throughout his career, Nick has always been recognised for his entrepreneurial skill and success in pairing retail financial products with low-risk, predictable investments.

Paul co-founded Lightsource Renewable Energy in 2010 and is based in the London office. His responsibilities include debt and equity fundraising for all solar asset developments, project investment structuring and M&A. He is a member of Lightsource bp’s Investment Committee and a Board Director. During his tenure at Lightsource bp, Paul has raised several billion pounds of project financing and in 2021 closed a $1.8bn credit and trade finance facility with a consortium of 10 lenders to power the company's 25GW by 2025 target. Prior to co-founding the company, he spent six years in the power finance team at Investec Bank and was involved in equity and debt transactions in the energy, renewable and industrial sectors. Prior to Investec, Paul was Assistant Director of project finance at Rolls-Royce Power Ventures, an independent power project developer based in London. Paul holds a degree in Engineering from Birmingham University.

Satish Mandhana is a Senior Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer at Eversource. With over 36 years’ experience, Satish is a pioneer in creating scaled platforms in RE, telecom, hostels, etc. As Managing Partner and CIO at IDFC Alternatives, Satish made 28 investments deploying USD 1.0 billion and monetizing 26 investments in full or partial exits.

Vibhor is a Senior Managing Director & Co-CIO at Eversource. He has been with the Everstone Group for over 4 years as a Managing Director-Investments at their Private Equity vertical. With an extensive experience of 20+ years, he was previously associated with Temasek Holdings where he made investments USD 2+ bn in 10+ transactions across sectors and styles, including control, co control and minority investments. During his 12-year tenure at the organisation, he led the Temasek EQT JV in India and created a renewable energy platform, O2 Power. Prior to this, Vibhor has worked with JM Morgan Stanley and Tata Administrative Services. He is an alumnus of IIT Kanpur and IIM Bangalore.

Anoop is a Senior Managing Director at Eversource Capital. He is involved in the management of all investments and building the strategy for future that focuses on energy transition, industrial decarbonisation, urban sustainability and smart agriculture and food. Anoop has been a private equity investor in 20 tech-rich companies in the US and Europe for the past 15 years. This includes setting up and managing a USD 500 million mid-market private equity fund based in London (UK) and focusing on energy transition sector for the past 4 years. He moved to India in 2022 and joined Eversource. Anoop holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, Master of Engineering from the Robert Gordon University and Bachelor of Technology from Indian Institute of Technology.

Prasanna Desai joined Eversource in 2018. Prasanna has over 20 years’ experience in corporate finance, investment banking, real estate and solar energy. In his last assignment, he was the Chief Operating Officer for Kiran Energy Solar, a leading private equity funded solar utility. His previous roles include Executive Director at F&C REIT Asset Management, Director at KPMG Corporate Finance and Vice President at Citigroup. Prasanna has a Master’s in Management Studies from the University of Mumbai, a Master’s in Economics & History from the University of Mumbai and Bachelor’s in Engineering from Nagpur University.

Shishir Maheshwari is a Managing Director at Eversource Capital. He has over 15 years of investment and operating experience across Private Equity funds and entrepreneurial ventures. Shishir has built new business platforms in sustainability domain at IDFC Private Equity and was the co-founder of Agribazaar.com, an agritech startup. Prior to Eversource capital, he was part of Bain-Piramal’s distress asset platform, IndiaRF, where he was leading investments across infrastructure, consumer and automotive domain. He has PGDBM from XLRI Jamshedpur and a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Govind Ballabh Pant University Of Agriculture And Technology, Uttarakhand.

Rohit joined Eversource in 2022 as Managing Director in Investment Team. He has over 23 years of experience in Financial Services and has nurtured strong corporate and institutional relationships. Prior to Eversource, since 2011, Rohit was Head of Corporate & Structured Finance with IndoStar Capital Finance (Everstone investee company) and Everstone Credit Platform where he successfully deployed > USD 1.5 bn across sectors. From 2006 to 2011, Rohit was Investment Manager & Chief Compliance Officer with ADM Capital where he was part of core investment team which deployed USD 500 mn across various special situations opportunities. Prior to ADM, Rohit worked with PriceWaterHouseCoopers across functions (investment banking, valuations, due diligence and tax advisory) and Tata AutoComp Systems Limited (in legal & compliance functions). Rohit holds a PGPM (MBA) from Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, law degree (LL.B.) from Pune University and Company Secretary.

Basant joined Eversource in 2022 and brings in over 22 years of experience of business incubation, scaling them to market leading position and in functions such as finance & accounts, SCM / procurement, risk management, M&A and operations apart from leading P&L for large businesses. Basant has worked in multitude of industries spanning across metal and mining, textile, real estate, infrastructure and renewable energy with leading business groups in India such as Aditya Birla Group, Raymond, Vedanta Group, GVK and Mahindra and Mahindra Limited. His last position was as MD and CEO of Mahindra Susten (cleantech arm of Mahindra group) wherein he incubated Mahindra Susten and established it as one of the leading solar EPC, IPP and O&M company both within Indian and in MENA region. Basant is passionate about cleantech business and believes in driving business excellence through tech adoption and innovation. Basant is a qualified CFA and holds Batchelor of Engineering degree in Electronics.

Rupali Gupta joined Eversource in February 2019 and has over 20 years of experience across private banking, corporate treasury, investor relations and fund raising. She has used her in-depth understanding of investor preferences and institutional relationships to raise over USD 2 billion for emerging market funds. In her last assignment, Rupali was Head of Investor Relations at Africa50, a pan Africa infrastructure investment platform. Before joining Africa50, she served as Director of the Investor Management Group at IDFC Alternatives, one of the largest multi-asset class investors in India. She has also held positions with True North, Morgan Stanley India and Kotak Securities. Rupali holds a Master’s in Management Studies from the University of Mumbai and a Bachelor’s in Science from the University of Mumbai.

Rajnish joined Eversource as Executive Director and Head of ESG in September 2022. Rajnish has more than 25 years of professional experience in Environmental and Social Risk Management, Environmental and Social Impact Assessment, Resettlement & Rehabilitation studies and ESG Due Diligence of Infrastructure Projects in urban development, Municipal Solid Waste Management, Conventional and Renewable Energy, Highways, SEZs, Water Supply, Ports and industrial projects. He has extensively worked in Projects funded by Asian Development Bank, World Bank, International Finance Corporation and other external lines of credit. Prior to Eversource, He was the Principal ESG Officer of SWAMIH fund, SBICAP Ventures Ltd. He has held positions in IDFC Group and IL&FS Ecosmart Limited. Rajnish holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Environment Management from Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management, Kolkata and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Ajmer University.

Anooshree has over 16 years’ experience in private equity, M&A and investment funds. Prior to Eversource, she has been counsel and partner at leading law firms in India and has worked with an international microfinance fund in Boston, USA. Anooshree has extensive experience in advising PE funds, multinationals and Indian promoter groups on investments, acquisitions, divestments and business transfers in telecom, infrastructure, finance, healthcare and media sectors. She has also worked with leading asset managers and institutional investors on structuring cross-border investment platforms, co-managed structures, feeder funds and AIFs. Anooshree holds a B.A. LL.B (Hons) from National Law School of India University, Bangalore and an LL.M from Harvard Law School. She is admitted to practise law in India and New York.

Anahita Medhora is an Executive Director and has over 15 years of experience across infrastructure and private equity funds. She joined Eversource in 2022 and brings extensive experience across investments, capital markets and exits. She has been associated with the Everstone Group since 2018 and has successfully executed various transactions in the private equity team. Prior to Everstone, Anahita was part of IDFC Alternatives - Private Equity for 11 years, where she managed platforms in renewable energy, logistics, healthcare and several fund related initiatives. Anahita holds a Master of Business Administration from S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research and is also a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Viral Rathod has over 21 years of experience and has been associated with Everstone Group since 2007 in various roles, including Private Equity Investments, Finance, The Investment Office and Capital Markets & Exits. Prior to joining Everstone Group, Viral worked for seven years in research and banking at Citibank, JPMorgan Services and CRISIL. Viral holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Mumbai and a Master of Management Studies from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies. He has also completed all levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program.

Kaushal Mehta has over 19 years of Indian and International consulting experience across statutory audits, mergers and acquisitions, commercial due diligence and enterprise risk management with a specialization in forensics. He is the Head of Risk at Eversource. Kaushal has been previously associated with EY, KPMG, Baker Tilly & Andersen Global providing value added solutions to companies globally across diverse sectors and has also led the forensic practice for large consulting firms. He has run multiple anti-bribery and corruption due diligence, integrity due diligence and transaction forensic engagements on behalf of Private Equity firms along with post investment continuous monitoring strategy to identify revenue leakages and malpractices using pre-emptive forensic data analytics. He acts as an Independent Director of a listed company in India. Kaushal holds a Chartered Accountant degree from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and has completed certification courses on Forensic investigations, Data analytics, Cryptocurrency and Leadership development from reputed institutes in India.

Khushboo Shahani Khushboo Shahani is an Executive Director at Eversource Capital, specializing in investments in energy efficiency, resource efficiency, and e-mobility. With over 13 years of experience in alternative asset classes, she has overseen nearly USD 1 billion in investments across private equity, private credit, and special situations. At Eversource, Khushboo focuses on scaling investments in the circular economy and climate impact sectors. Her previous roles include Vice President at Everstone Capital Advisors, where she led deployments of over USD 150 million, and Chief Manager at SBI Funds Management, where she executed distressed transactions with targeted IRRs of 18-22%. Khushboo holds an MBA from SP Jain Institute of Management & Research and a Bachelor of Commerce from St. Francis College for Women, Hyderabad.

Siddharth Gauba is an Executive Director at Eversource Capital. He works in an Operations role, working with deal teams and portfolio leadership to define the value creation agenda and drive its implementation. Siddharth has over 15 years of experience focused on business transformation and growth programs across industries. Siddharth has Bachelors and Masters degrees in engineering from Cornell University, USA and has completed the Post Graduate Programme in Management from the Indian School of Business. He previously worked with Accenture Strategy and Amazon.

Aayush Parwal is an Executive Director at Eversource Capital, with over 10 years of experience in Private Equity, Structured Investments, and Equity Research. At Eversource, he focuses on green infrastructure investments. Prior to this, Aayush was with Piramal Capital, where he managed corporate investments across sectors like renewable energy, transmission, and automobiles, with an AUM exceeding USD 1 billion. He also served as an Equity Research Analyst at CLSA India, covering Infrastructure, Power, and Capital Goods. Aayush holds a PGDM from SPJIMR Mumbai, a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering from BITS Pilani, and is a CFA Charterholder.
